ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced an undergraduate scholarship for Pakistani students at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). Moreover, the opportunity is available for the September/October 2026 academic intake.
Scholarship Covers Tuition Fees Only
According to the HEC, only one scholarship will be awarded under the programme. The selected student will receive a 100 percent tuition fee waiver throughout the approved course of study.
However, the scholarship does not cover accommodation, meals, airfare, living expenses, health insurance, visa charges or other personal expenses. Therefore, the successful applicant will be responsible for meeting all non-tuition costs independently.
Application Process and Deadline
The HEC advised interested candidates to visit its official scholarship portal to review the eligibility criteria and application guidelines before submitting their applications.
Furthermore, applicants must complete the online application process and upload all required documents within the specified deadline. The commission urged candidates to ensure that their information is accurate and complete to avoid any processing delays.
Eligible students can apply for the scholarship until August 5, 2026. Therefore, the HEC encouraged prospective applicants to submit their applications before the deadline to be considered for the fully funded tuition opportunity at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology.
