Punjab boards announce Intermediate Part 1 results

The results for Intermediate Part I exams have been released by various boards across Punjab, revealing a mixed performance among students.

Lahore
The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) reported that 162,000 candidates participated in the exams, with 84,785 students passing. This results in a success rate of 52%. Conversely, over 77,000 candidates failed, resulting in a failure percentage of 48%. Students can check their results at BISE Lahore.

Gujranwala
The Gujranwala BISE announced that 131,397 students took the Intermediate Part I exams, with 68,071 passing. The success rate here is slightly lower at 51%, with 63,326 students failing. The board’s chairman, Naveed Haider Shirazi, provided these statistics. Results can be viewed at BISE Gujranwala.

Sahiwal
The Sahiwal board reported that 39,855 students participated, of which 20,323 passed. This results in a success rate of 51%, as confirmed by the board’s chairman. For results, visit BISE Sahiwal.

Faisalabad
The Faisalabad BISE reported that 98,834 candidates appeared for the exams, with 63,806 students achieving success. The success rate in Faisalabad stands at 64.56%. Students can check their results at BISE Faisalabad.

Multan
Multan BISE chairperson Maryam Khan announced that 68,674 students participated in the exams, with 37,814 passing. The success rate for Multan was reported at 55%.

These results highlight the varying performance levels across the different boards in Punjab, reflecting both successes and challenges for the student community.
