Higher Education Commission has stopped enrollment in universities

On Wednesday, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) sent out a student alert saying it had temporarily stopped accepting new students at a private university.

The educational organization announced on Twitter that it would no longer be funding Isra University’s admissions in any academic field beginning with the Fall 2022 semester. The HEC has stated that all admissions, including those to medical schools, in the country’s three major cities of Hyderabad, Karachi, and Islamabad will be affected. In a statement, the body said that admissions would remain halted until the current crisis was resolved.
