The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department has announced that all colleges in the region will be open on August 5, even though it falls within the summer vacation period. This decision is made in observance of “Youm-e-Istehsal,” a day dedicated to denouncing the actions of Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.
According to the official announcement from the education department, colleges are required to remain open on August 5 and to organize special activities. These activities will engage both staff and students in raising awareness about the situation in Kashmir and expressing condemnation of the ongoing oppression and atrocities inflicted on innocent Kashmiris by Indian forces.
The department emphasized that these activities should be conducted in a way that ensures a meaningful and impactful observance of the day. The focus will be on educating participants about the current conditions in Kashmir and fostering solidarity with those affected by the conflict.
