Senior Political Leaders to Address Media
Leaders of the Hazara Province Movement will hold an important press conference in Islamabad on Monday, August 3, 2026.
The event will begin at 5pm at the National Press Club Islamabad, according to an official press notice issued on Sunday.
Hazara Province Movement Chairman and Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf will lead the press conference.
Senator Talha Mahmood, Murtaza Javed Abbasi and the movement’s central coordinator, Professor Sajjad Qureshi, are also expected to participate.
Other senior representatives and supporters of the movement will attend the event.
Leaders to Outline Demands for Separate Province
The political leaders will brief journalists about their demands for the establishment of a separate Hazara province.
They are expected to explain the movement’s position and present its arguments before the national media.

The National Press Club Islamabad formally announced the press conference through a notice dated August 2, 2026.
Journalists and media organisations have been invited to cover the event.
The participating leaders will present their demands and answer questions regarding the proposed Hazara province.
The press conference is expected to renew political discussion about administrative reforms and regional representation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
