ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that pilgrims selected under Pakistan’s government Hajj scheme for 2027 will begin paying their second instalment of dues from October 5.
According to the ministry, pilgrims can submit the second payment through the Pak Hajj App or the Digital Hajj Portal until October 20. Applicants have been advised to complete the payment within the specified deadline to avoid cancellation of their applications.
The ministry said applications would be cancelled if pilgrims failed to deposit the second instalment by October 20. However, any amount already deposited would be refunded to the applicant’s registered account following cancellation.
Pilgrims must also upload their Hajj medical fitness certificates before submitting the second instalment. The certificate can be uploaded through the Pak Hajj App or the digital Hajj portal.
The ministry urged all selected pilgrims to complete the required documentation and payment within the prescribed period.
Pakistan has shifted the Hajj 2027 government scheme towards a digital system, allowing pilgrims to complete applications and payments online. The government has allocated 107,526 seats under the scheme for next year’s pilgrimage.
The latest payment schedule is part of preparations for Hajj 2027, with authorities using digital platforms to streamline the registration, payment and documentation process.
