ISLAMABAD: The federal government announced several appointments and transfers in the bureaucracy on Tuesday, while two women officers from the Pakistan Administrative Service resigned from government service after official approval.
According to notifications issued by the Establishment Division, Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board Muhammad Yasir Pirzada has been transferred, and his services have been returned to his parent institution, the Federal Board of Revenue.
Meanwhile, Secretary of the Inter-Provincial Coordination Division Mohiuddin Ahmed Wani received additional charge as Director General Pakistan Sports Board for three months or until authorities appoint a permanent official, whichever occurs first.
Several officers also received new postings under the latest administrative reshuffle. Muhammad Hassanullah and Muhammad Siddique, who were awaiting appointments, have now been posted in the Establishment Division.
In addition, officials transferred Muhammad Zubair from the Religious Affairs Division to the National Food Security and Research Division. Similarly, authorities moved Muneeza Hamid from the Interior Division to the National Heritage and Culture Division.
Separately, the government accepted the resignations of two PAS officers after approval from the competent authority and the secretary of the Establishment Division.
Official notifications stated that Grade-18 officer Nadia Haroon and Grade-17 officer Sadaf Fatima, both awaiting appointments in the Establishment Division, resigned from service. Nadia Haroonโs resignation will become effective from December 1, 2025, whereas Sadaf Fatimaโs resignation will take effect from July 23, 2025.
The Establishment Division issued separate notifications covering all appointments, transfers, and resignations.
