Gold prices in Pakistan remained unchanged over the weekend, following a sharp decline that provided relief to jewellery buyers and investors. The latest stability has raised questions about whether precious metal prices will fall further or begin rising again.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, 24-karat gold remained at Rs429,136 per tola on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The rate followed Friday’s significant reduction of Rs6,500 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also remained unchanged at Rs367,914. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold stood at Rs337,266, maintaining the previous trading session’s level.
International gold prices showed similar stability. The precious metal remained at $4,066 per ounce, reflecting limited movement in the global bullion market.
However, silver recorded another decline. Its price fell by Rs10 per tola, settling at Rs5,668. Similarly, 10 grams of silver became cheaper by Rs8, reaching Rs4,859. International silver prices also declined to $51.90 per ounce.
The Nation
The latest developments follow a volatile week for Pakistan’s gold market. Prices increased sharply before Friday’s decline reversed part of those gains.
Gold prices in Pakistan are influenced by international bullion rates, currency fluctuations and local market conditions. Consequently, even modest changes in global markets can affect domestic prices.
For jewellery buyers, the current rate offers some relief compared with Thursday’s higher prices. However, making charges and retailer premiums can increase the final purchase cost.
Whether gold prices continue falling or recover will depend on upcoming international market movements and domestic trading conditions.
