Gold prices in Pakistan increased for the third consecutive day on Saturday, following another rise in international bullion rates.
According to the latest market rates, gold reached Rs. 442,036 per tola after gaining Rs. 1,100 during the day. The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs. 943, reaching Rs. 378,974.
The latest rise followed a significant increase on Friday, when gold prices surged by Rs. 5,900 per tola to settle at Rs. 440,936. The consecutive gains have pushed domestic gold rates higher as international market prices continue to influence local trading.
Meanwhile, gold gained $11 in the international market, reaching $4,195 per ounce. The increase in global prices contributed to the upward movement in Pakistan’s bullion market.
Silver Prices Also Record An Increase
Silver prices followed the upward trend, increasing by Rs. 43 per tola to close at Rs. 6,555.
The rise in both precious metals reflects continued movement in local and international markets. Gold and silver prices in Pakistan generally respond to changes in global bullion rates, alongside currency movements and domestic market conditions.
Jewellers and investors closely monitor these changes because fluctuations can affect purchasing decisions, jewellery costs and investment returns.
Gold Market Continues Upward Movement
The latest increase extends gold’s recent upward movement in Pakistan. Friday’s sharp gain was followed by a further increase of Rs. 1,100 per tola on Saturday, keeping prices above the previous session’s closing level.
The price of 10-gram gold also recorded another increase, reflecting the broader rise across the local market.
International gold prices remained a key factor behind the latest changes, with bullion gaining $11 per ounce. Market participants will continue watching global price movements for indications of how domestic rates may change in the coming sessions.
