Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp decline on Saturday, October 31, 2026, following a significant fall in international bullion markets.
The price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs10,800 per tola, bringing the latest rate to Rs409,736.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the decline offered relief to customers planning to purchase gold jewellery.
Latest Gold Prices in Pakistan on October 31
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs9,259 to Rs351,282.
Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold became cheaper by Rs8,487, settling at Rs322,020.
The latest decrease follows Friday’s decline of Rs5,100 per tola.
Over two trading sessions, gold has lost Rs15,900 per tola, reflecting continued weakness in the market.
International Gold Prices Fall by $108
The downward trend was also visible in international markets.
Gold prices dropped by $108 per ounce, reaching $3,872.
International bullion prices remain sensitive to economic developments, interest rate expectations, and investor sentiment.
Higher interest rates can reduce demand for gold because the metal does not generate interest income.
Silver Prices Also Decline Across Pakistan
Silver prices followed the downward trend.
The price of silver fell by Rs142 per tola to Rs5,388.
Similarly, 10 grams of silver declined by Rs122, bringing the rate to Rs4,619.
International silver prices decreased by $1.42 to $49.10 per ounce.
Will Gold Prices Fall Further?
The latest decline may encourage jewellery purchases, particularly among customers awaiting lower prices.
However, future rates will depend on international market movements, currency fluctuations, and domestic demand.
Investors and buyers should monitor daily bullion rates before making purchasing decisions.
