Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Friday, with 24-karat gold rising by Rs. 2,000 per tola in the domestic market.
According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, 24-karat gold reached Rs. 440,636 per tola. Meanwhile, the price of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs. 1,715 to Rs. 377,774 per 10 grams.
The latest increase pushed gold prices higher after recent fluctuations in the local bullion market. Traders and investors closely monitor domestic rates alongside movements in international markets.
22-Karat Gold Also Records Increase
The price of 22-karat gold also moved higher in the domestic market. It was quoted at Rs. 346,305 per 10 grams on Friday.
Gold remains one of the most closely watched commodities in Pakistan, with local prices influenced by international bullion rates and currency movements. Changes in global prices can therefore affect domestic gold valuations.
The latest rates reflect the prices reported by the country’s jewellers’ association. Buyers and sellers typically use these rates as a reference for transactions across the local market.
Silver Prices Rise In Domestic Market
Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded an increase on Friday. The price of 24-karat silver rose by Rs. 50 to Rs. 6,578 per tola.
Similarly, 24-karat silver gained Rs. 43 per 10 grams and reached Rs. 5,639. The precious metal also continued to attract attention alongside the latest movement in gold prices.
