Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Friday, with the rate of 24-karat gold reaching Rs. 430,436 per tola. The precious metal gained Rs. 3,000 compared to the previous trading session. Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded an upward trend in the domestic market.
Gold Rates Move Higher Across Pakistan
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, 24-karat gold per 10 grams increased by Rs. 2,572. As a result, the new price reached Rs. 369,029.
Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold rose to Rs. 338,288 per 10 grams. The increase reflected continued fluctuations in the local precious metals market.
Silver Prices Also Record Gains
Silver prices also climbed on Friday across the domestic market. The price of 24-karat silver rose by Rs. 79 to Rs. 6,294 per tola.
Likewise, silver per 10 grams increased by Rs68. The updated rate reached Rs. 5,396, according to market data.
Meanwhile, international gold prices moved lower during global trading. Spot gold traded near $4,077 per ounce, falling by $27.90, or 0.68 percent, from the previous session.
