Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik celebrated their daughter Khai’s sixth birthday with separate celebrations following their split.
Khai turned six on September 19, with both parents marking the occasion through special activities and gifts. Hadid shared glimpses of her celebration a week later, giving fans a look at the intimate birthday festivities.
Hadid Shares Sweet Birthday Moments
The supermodel organized a full day of activities for Khai, starting with a birthday cupcake at breakfast. The celebrations continued with cooking and baking before ending with an intimate party.
“My baby turned 6 last week,” Hadid wrote on Instagram. She described celebrating her daughter as a gift and shared several loving details about her personality.
Hadid called Khai her “mirror” and “muse” while expressing pride in being her mother. She also described her as curious, creative, loving, adventurous and passionate about animals, reading and sweets.
Malik Plans Fun Day Out
Meanwhile, Malik arranged a separate birthday celebration for Khai and her friends. The singer took the children to American Dream, Nickelodeon Universe and Hasbro Arcade for a day of entertainment.
Malik also celebrated with Khai at home and prepared another birthday cake for the occasion. He gifted his daughter a National Geographic butterfly growing kit as part of the celebrations.
Hadid and Malik welcomed Khai in September 2020 and separated in 2021. Since then, the former couple has continued celebrating their daughter’s milestones separately while keeping much of her life private.
The two celebrations gave Khai memorable birthday experiences with both parents. Hadid’s heartfelt tribute also highlighted her close bond with her daughter as she entered her sixth year.
