A massive bull named Sultan has emerged as a major attraction in Gujranwala, drawing large crowds and generating widespread attention due to its extraordinary size and powerful appearance.
Known locally as a “pehlwani-size” bull, Sultan has become one of the most talked-about animals in the region’s livestock market. Residents describe the bull as standing nearly seven feet tall, with a broad chest, thick muscular legs, and a strong, steel-like physique that distinguishes it from other animals on display.
As news of the giant bull spread, families, children, and visitors began flocking to the market to see Sultan in person. Many people have been taking selfies and photographs with the animal, while others have treated it like a local celebrity because of its rare appearance and impressive physical features.
According to discussions in the livestock market, traders have placed Sultan’s value at nearly Rs5 million. However, market sources suggested that negotiations could potentially reduce the price to around Rs2 million. Despite receiving several high offers, the sellers reportedly remain unwilling to finalise a deal at the current bids.
The popularity of Sultan has also drawn attention to Gujranwala’s long-standing culture of desi livestock trading, where strong and well-bred animals often command premium prices and attract significant public interest, particularly before major religious festivals such as Eid-ul-Adha.
Livestock traders stated that buyers from different cities have shown interest in the bull because of its exceptional build and market appeal. Meanwhile, visitors continue arriving daily to witness the unusual attraction, turning the livestock market into a lively gathering point for residents and animal enthusiasts alike.
Market observers noted that animals with unique physical characteristics frequently become public attractions in Punjab’s cattle markets, especially during the Eid season when competition for prized sacrificial animals intensifies.
