Government College University (GCU) Lahore has opened Phase-II admissions for Fall 2026. The university offers BS, MS/MPhil, and diploma programs across both campuses.
According to the official advertisement, applicants can apply until August 19, 2026. Admissions remain open at the Main Campus on Katchery Road and Kala Shah Kaku (KSK) Campus.
The Main Campus offers BS programs in biotechnology, biology, chemistry, commerce, economics, physics, political science, and zoology. Meanwhile, KSK Campus offers computer science, graphic design, visual arts, film, mathematics, geography, and other programs.
60% Scholarship Available For Selected Programs
GCU has announced a 60% scholarship for students entering selected BS programs. At the Main Campus, eligible fields include B.Ed., Punjabi, Persian, philosophy, Urdu, and translation studies.
At KSK Campus, the scholarship covers agriculture, archive studies, art history, B.Ed., global studies, history, Islamic studies, and physical education. Therefore, eligible students can benefit from reduced educational costs.
MS/MPhil And Diploma Admissions Open
The university also offers MS/MPhil programs across several disciplines. These include economics, physics, mathematics, political science, sociology, statistics, and zoology.
Additionally, GCU offers weekend diplomas in Banking Law, Income Tax Law, and Criminology. It also offers a postgraduate diploma in computer science.
Most BS applicants will receive admission based on Intermediate Part-I or equivalent marks. However, BFA applicants must pass the relevant entrance test. BS Physical Education applicants must also pass a physical efficiency test on August 22.
Applicants must apply through the GCU Online Admission Portal. The processing fee is Rs. 1,000 for BS and diploma programs. Meanwhile, MS/MPhil applicants must pay Rs. 1,500.
Applicants can deposit fees at any UBL branch across Pakistan. However, UBL Omni and other online payment methods remain unavailable.
