The Pakistan Meteorological Department forecast changing weather conditions across various parts of the country during the new spell.
Meanwhile, Islamabad is likely to remain hot and humid over the next one to two days.
The capitalโs temperature could reach 36ยฐC before rain and strong winds arrive from August 27.
Hot and Humid Weather Expected
Karachi will also experience hot and humid conditions as reduced sea breezes increase discomfort across the city.
The maximum temperature in Karachi is expected to reach 33ยฐC, while humidity could remain around 75%.
Similarly, most areas of Punjab will experience hot and humid weather during the next two days.
Lahoreโs temperature could rise to 37ยฐC before the expected monsoon activity begins.
However, the weather pattern is likely to change as the new system affects different regions.
Rain Forecast for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa
In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, scattered rain is expected across several districts during the monsoon spell.
The affected areas include Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra and Abbottabad.
Rain is also forecast in Torghar, Haripur and South Waziristan.
The weather department advised residents to remain alert as thunderstorms and strong winds could affect daily activities.
Authorities and relevant departments may also need to monitor vulnerable areas during periods of heavy rainfall.
The weather experts forewarned people of the new spell of rain, urging them to stay away from risky areas.
