ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has invited online applications for the MCQ-Based Preliminary Test (MPT) for the CSS Competitive Examination 2027.
Application process begins
According to the FPSC, candidates can submit online applications from August 3 to August 20, 2026. The commission will conduct the MPT on September 27 in 19 cities across Pakistan.
Moreover, passing the MPT remains mandatory for candidates seeking to appear in the CSS Competitive Examination 2027. Applicants should complete their forms carefully because incorrect or incomplete information may result in rejection.
Fee payment and submission
Candidates must apply through the official FPSC website by creating an account, completing their profile, and submitting the MPT application form.
Furthermore, applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs250 after generating a 16-digit PSID. They can make payments through 1-Link using ATMs, mobile banking, internet banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, or member banks.
However, FPSC clarified that fee payment alone will not complete the application. Therefore, candidates must log in again and finish the remaining submission process.
Meanwhile, the commission will upload admission certificates on its website at least 10 days before the examination. Candidates must download the certificates online because FPSC will not issue separate notices.
