Four tourists were killed and one person was injured after a car plunged into a deep ravine near Mansehra on Sunday. The victims were travelling from Mansehra to Naran when the accident occurred.
Rescue Teams Recover Victims
According to Rescue 1122, the tourists were residents of Sialkot visiting the popular northern destination. Emergency teams reached the scene soon after receiving reports of the crash.
Rescuers launched an operation to recover the victims from the ravine. Consequently, four passengers were confirmed dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, rescue personnel pulled the injured passenger from the wreckage. They provided emergency medical assistance before shifting the survivor for further treatment.
Speeding Suspected Behind Crash
Preliminary investigations suggest excessive speed caused the accident. However, authorities are continuing to examine the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.
Officials have not released the identities of the victims. They said further details will emerge after the investigation is completed.
