Two men were found dead inside a car parked at a garage in Karachi’s Clifton. Police discovered the bodies after residents reported a foul smell.
The incident occurred at Sea View Apartments near Nishan-e-Pakistan. Police believe the victims had died one or two days earlier.
Darakhshan police identified one victim as 34-year-old Asadullah. He lived in Keamari’s Gulshan Sikandarabad and worked as a driver.
The second victim appeared to be between 20 and 22 years old. Police had not immediately established his identity.
Police Suspect Suffocation Caused Deaths
Police found Asadullah sitting in the driver’s seat. Officers discovered the second man in the rear seat of the vehicle.
Both victims were reportedly found in a semi-naked state. However, police have not determined the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
Darakhshan SHO Rashid Ali said initial findings indicated possible suffocation. He stressed that authorities would confirm the cause after post-mortem examinations.
Bodies Shifted for Post-Mortem Examination
Police called the crime scene unit after reaching the location. Investigators collected evidence from the vehicle and surrounding area.
Authorities later removed the car from the garage. They shifted both bodies to Jinnah Hospital for medico-legal procedures and post-mortem examinations.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Investigators are also examining evidence collected from the vehicle and the scene.
Officials said the final cause of death would depend on medical findings. Further investigation will determine how the two men died inside the parked vehicle.
