Jatoi Accuses PPP of Authoritarianism Following His Arrest
Former federal minister Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi was arrested outside the court in Naushero Feroze shortly after attending a legal proceeding related to a separate case.
As police detained him, Jatoi protested, asserting, “I have orders from the High Court; you cannot arrest me.” In response, the police informed him that they had valid arrest warrants.
Jatoi strongly condemned his arrest, accusing the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) of authoritarianism and labeling it as “the monarchy of the PPP.”
