Kabul River Levels Expected to Rise
According to disaster management officials, sustained rainfall may increase flows in the Kabul River and its tributaries.
This situation raises the risk of flash flooding, especially in vulnerable and low-lying areas. Therefore, monitoring of river conditions has been intensified.
Residents living near riverbanks have been advised to remain cautious. Authorities stressed the importance of early action to prevent loss of life and property.
High-Risk Districts Placed on Alert
The advisory highlights several districts facing increased flood risk. These include Swat, Chitral, Upper and Lower Dir, Buner, and Shangla.
