Deadly Blast Targets Security Convoy
Five security personnel embraced martyrdom in Balochistan’s Kech district when their vehicle was targeted in an IED blast.
The tragic attack occurred in the Sher Bandi area on September 15, the military’s media wing confirmed on Monday.
Captain Waqar Ahmed, Naik Asmatullah, Lance Naik Junaid Ahmed, Lance Naik Khan Muhammad, and Sepoy Muhammad Zahoor lost their lives.
Swift Response from Security Forces
Immediately after the incident, security forces launched a clearance operation to eliminate the perpetrators.
During the operation, troops killed five terrorists associated with the extremist group Fitna Al-Hindustan.
Moreover, security personnel recovered weapons and ammunition used in the attack.
A search operation continues across the area to locate any remaining terrorists involved in the assault.
