Deportees Caught During Immigration Check at Multan Airport
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Cell Multan has arrested seven passengers for allegedly travelling abroad through illegal channels using fake documents.
According to FIA officials, the passengers were deported from Malaysia, Iraq and other countries after facing issues related to illegal stay abroad.
During immigration clearance checks at Multan Airport, authorities found that the passengers had no valid travel records in the system.
The FIA launched further investigation after detecting irregularities in their travel history.
Agents Accused of Sending People Abroad Through Illegal Routes
Initial investigations revealed that several agents were allegedly involved in sending the passengers overseas through unlawful methods.
The agents reportedly promised attractive employment opportunities and convinced individuals to travel abroad through unauthorized channels.
FIA officials said such illegal migration networks put citizens at risk of exploitation, financial losses and legal problems in foreign countries.
The agency is continuing investigations to identify and take action against those involved in the alleged human trafficking network.
Case Transferred to Anti-Human Trafficking Circle
After the initial inquiry, the FIA Immigration Cell Multan transferred the case to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Multan for further legal proceedings.
Authorities said strict action would be taken against individuals involved in document fraud, illegal migration and human trafficking activities.
The FIA continues its crackdown against networks facilitating unauthorized overseas travel and exploitation of Pakistani citizens.
