The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) raised more than Rs. 10 billion from the sale of 15 commercial plots in Islamabad.
The revenue was generated on the first day of FGEHA’s two-day commercial plot auction.
Plots Offered in G-13 and G-14
FGEHA offered commercial plots at several locations across Islamabad’s G-13 and G-14 sectors.
The auction included plots in G-14 Markaz, G-14/2, G-14/3 and G-14/4.
According to FGEHA, 15 plots were sold on Tuesday.
The authority said the auction generated more than Rs. 10 billion in total revenue.
FGEHA Highlights Investment Potential
FGEHA said the auctioned areas are developing rapidly.
The authority expects increasing commercial activity in these locations.
It also highlighted the potential for future investment as development continues across G-13 and G-14.
FGEHA Director General retired Captain Zafar Iqbal said a transparent and merit-based auction process can strengthen investor confidence.
He also said an organized auction can contribute to greater commercial activity.
Investor Facilitation Cell Established
FGEHA has established an Investor Facilitation Cell to support buyers and investors.
The cell operates under the supervision of the Director Staff.
It will assist investors and address their concerns during the process.
The authority is conducting the auction over two days as it continues offering commercial properties in developing areas of Islamabad.
