The federal government has announced several transfers and new postings involving senior bureaucrats and officers across different departments. The Establishment Division issued official notifications outlining the latest administrative changes on Wednesday, November 4.
The reshuffle affects officers from the Secretariat Group, Inland Revenue Service and Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service. Moreover, the government has made fresh appointments and extended deputation arrangements involving federal and provincial departments.
Senior Officers Receive New Assignments
Muhammad Shahid Deo, a Grade-19 officer of the Secretariat Group, has been transferred from his position as Director General of the Privatisation Commission. Authorities have returned his services to the Management Services Wing of the Establishment Division for further posting.
Similarly, Muhammad Asif, a Grade-19 Inland Revenue Service officer, has been transferred from the Punjab Revenue Authority. His services have been repatriated to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), his parent department.
Saima Mustansir, who served as Additional Director Finance at the Civil Services Academy in Lahore, has also received a transfer order. Her services have been returned to the Office of the Auditor General of Pakistan.
New Appointments and Deputation Extensions Announced
Meanwhile, the government has appointed Faizan Ali Imdad, a lecturer from Sindh’s Education Department, to the Federal Directorate of Education. He will serve in Islamabad on deputation for three years.
In another development, authorities have extended Dr Sabeen Haroon’s deputation for another two years. She serves as a medical officer with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and currently works as a Women Medical Officer at the District Health Office Islamabad.
These administrative changes form part of the government’s ongoing efforts to manage federal staffing arrangements. The latest notifications also clarify officers’ departmental responsibilities and reporting arrangements.
The Establishment Division will oversee the implementation of these transfers and postings. The affected officers will assume their revised responsibilities according to the issued notifications.
