Tragedy struck as a passenger van, transporting devotees to the Shah Noorani Shrine, was involved in a fatal accident near Hub, resulting in one fatality and 25 injuries.
The incident unfolded near Weirab Naddi when the van, en route to the shrine, encountered a mishap, prompting a swift response from rescue officials. The injured were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for urgent medical care.

This unfortunate event echoes a similar calamity from the previous year, where a van carrying passengers plunged into a ravine in Mansehra, claiming the lives of six individuals, including women. The tragedy unfolded as the van’s tires burst, causing it to veer into the ravine due to the driver losing control of the vehicle.
The van, en route from Battagram to Mansehra, left six people dead, including two women, while 10 others sustained injuries, with the deceased and injured promptly taken to the hospital.
In another harrowing road incident earlier, eight lives were lost, and nine individuals suffered serious injuries in a collision between a car and a van near Babusar Top โ Chilas on a Friday. These incidents underscore the need for heightened safety measures on the roads to prevent further tragedies and protect the lives of commuters.
