Fake Notification
The notification regarding the removal of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police Akhtar Hayat Gandapur has been confirmed as fake.
The KP IGP public relations officer stated on Monday, “The said notification is fake.”

The Establishment Division has taken notice of the situation and has requested the Federal Investigation Agency to initiate an investigation.
Earlier in the day, a notification allegedly from the Establishment Division had appeared on social media, announcing the appointment of a Grade 21 officer, Bilal Siddique Kamyana, as the new KP IGP, replacing Akhtar Hayat Gandapur.
Reports indicate that the Lahore police have also taken note of the fraudulent notification.
In a swift response, authorities have discredited the fake notification concerning the removal of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police. The incident has sparked investigations into its origins and distribution.
