On Wednesday, PTI leader Faisal Vawda claimed that neither the political class nor the establishment were engaged in Arshad Sharif’s slaying.
The PTI leader claimed that the perpetrators of this “conspiracy” were within his grasp. The PTI’s long march, which is scheduled to begin on Friday, October 28 in Lahore, would “see carnage, death, and funerals,” according to the former minister. “These funerals will undoubtedly take place, but I’ll fight to the very end to prevent my fellow Pakistanis from giving their life to a plot devised by a few people. I’ll make an effort to put a stop to the nation’s politics of violence and death.
He asserted that, contrary to the Kenyan police’s account, journalist Arshad Sharif was killed deliberately since he was shot at close range. Vawda, who claimed to be a close friend of the murdered journalist, said during a press conference at the National Press Club that regardless of how the investigation into his death is conducted, evidence related to it, such as his mobile phone, laptop, and documents, “will never be found as they have been erased.
“In my perspective, a person either sitting in the car or present at a very close range fired two bullets at him, one at the head and the second in the chest,” he said. When a bullet strikes a person in the head or chest, Vawda explains that it cannot have been fired from a great distance because 8 to 10 bullets would have been fired.
He continued, saying that in this case, only Arshad perished as a result of this “cold, planned, brutal murder that was conspired.” “The story that has been narrated regarding the mistaken identity case should have been plotted well because no matter which country is in question, the police would never open fire if they had (as they claim) doubts that a child was present in the car,” he said.
Arshad was “selected to be slain in Kenya by individuals who want to break the country,” he alleged, lamenting the legal system there as well as in Kenya, where he claimed conditions were worse than in Pakistan.
“I will say the truth without fear of the consequences since his martyrdom was a pre-conspired murder, not a normal accident,” the PTI leader stated, adding that the journalist’s murder is now a question of Pakistan’s dignity and honour.
Arshad left Pakistan after being threatened and blackmailed, according to him, so he travelled to Dubai.
Later, it was alleged that he was pressured to leave Dubai by the establishment or other entities, although this assertion is untrue.
