Pakistani actor Fahad Sheikh has publicly apologised to veteran actor and writer Mohammed Ahmed after a video from a drama set sparked widespread discussion on social media.
Sharing a series of Instagram Stories, Fahad addressed the controversy and claimed the viral clip did not present the complete picture. According to him, the footage was taken out of context and failed to reflect what actually happened during filming.
He also warned that โhalf-cooked stories are always dangerousโ because they create a false narrative.
Fahad Says There Was No Intention to Disrespect a Senior
Responding to the criticism, Fahad rejected claims that he had bullied Mohammed Ahmed on the set.
Instead, he explained that the cast shared a close relationship and interacted like family members throughout the project.
โOn set we donโt work as co-actors, we bond like a family who laughs together, eats with each other and shares grievances,โ he wrote.
He maintained that the atmosphere on the set was friendly and that his actions were never intended to insult or humiliate the veteran actor.
Actor Extends Public Apology
Fahad revealed that he had already apologised to Mohammed Ahmed in private.
However, he decided to extend the apology publicly if the private conversation had not been enough.
โAnd if Ahmed sb thinks my personal apology was not enough for him, I apologise to him on this platform as well. I hope you donโt keep any grudges against me because I would never think of insulting my seniors in any case,โ he added.
The actor said he respects his seniors and would never deliberately disrespect them.
Legal Action Planned Over Viral Video
Fahad also stated that legal action is being initiated against those who circulated the video.
He alleged that the clip was shared without proper context and presented a misleading version of the incident.
According to him, the edited footage created a false impression and fuelled unnecessary controversy.
Controversy Followed Mohammed Ahmed’s Podcast Appearance
The clarification came after Mohammed Ahmed shared a painful experience during an appearance on Sheeba Khan’s Dareecha podcast.
Although he did not name the actor involved, he recalled that a younger and now-famous star repeatedly mocked his appearance, acting style and hairstyle in front of the cast and crew.
He said the behaviour left him publicly humiliated.
Despite the incident, Mohammed Ahmed explained that he chose not to respond. He said he did not want to stoop to the actor’s level.
Fahad Sheikh’s public statement now adds another chapter to the controversy, as he continues to insist that the viral video did not accurately represent the events that unfolded on the set.
