Temperatures approach 49 degrees across several regions

Reports indicated that temperatures in several cities approached or exceeded 47 degrees Celsius as the heat system maintained its grip across the region. Additionally, reports showed temperatures reaching approximately 48.6 degrees Celsius in Jeddah and 48.4 degrees Celsius in Makkah in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, Luxor in Egypt recorded temperatures near 47 degrees Celsius.
