Fans have been given a glimpse of actor Yasir Hussain’s character in the upcoming film Javed Iqbal in which the actor is playing the infamous serial killer who admitted to killing and dismembering over 100 young boys in 1999.
The film is based on the investigation into Javed Iqbal, the serial killer who sent evidence of his crimes to the authorities and media in 1999. It is being directed by Abu Aleeha who has written the screenplay of the film as well.
Hussain took to social media to share a poster of his character from the upcoming film. The poster shows the actor wearing a monochrome sweater and dressed in the likeness of the serial killer from when he was publicly arrested by the police.
Actor Ayesha Omar who is starring in the film alongside Hussain shared the character reveal on her Instagram Story as well, tagging both Hussain and the director while sharing the news.
In a comment to Images, the director said the posters have been shared for the purpose of revealing Hussain’s look. The official posters for the film will be revealed in the coming days as well. “We will also reveal Ayesha Omar’s look alongside Hussain’s for the film,” he said.
The movie is due to be released in cinemas but the release date has yet to be confirmed.
