ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actor Zara Noor Abbas has voiced her outrage over the harassment of a woman in North Karachi last week.
The 33-year-old actress shared a video of the incident on her Instagram story, It shows a man on a motorcycle, accompanied by a child, is harassing a woman who is wearing a hijab.
The harassment occurred in broad daylight on a Karachi street, with the child present during the incident.
In her post, Zara expressed her fury, writing: “Raising another generation of harassers while they are on the bike. Children are mimickers. They do what they see. And this man on the bike is setting a bad example for the child.”
She also expressed a deep sense of frustration, stating that she wished she “was allowed to murder” the harasser.
Other celebrities, including Sajal Ali and Maryam Nafees, also condemned the incident and shared their outrage.
Despite the clear visibility of the harasser’s face in the video, media reports indicate that the police have yet to arrest the suspect.
