ISLAMABAD: Pakistani cricketer Shadab Khan has addressed the ongoing claims that cricketers frequently message female actors on social media.
Shadab shared his perspective on the matter, offering intriguing insights.
During the show, a fan directly asked him: “Many female actors claim that cricketers send them messages on social media. Have you ever messaged any actors?”
Shadab responded: “Even if cricketers send messages, what’s wrong with that?”
He elaborated, saying: “Everyone has the option to block. If you don’t like it, don’t reply. However, some actors do respond and seem interested in talking as well.”
The all-rounder went on to comment on the timing of such claims, saying: “We’ve seen some videos where things are exaggerated. Sometimes, actors bring this up during tournaments or World Cups because all eyes are on cricket at that time.”
He also revealed that when such claims surface, teammates often ask each other about who actually sent the messages.
Notably, last year, TikToker Shahtaj Khan alleged that Shadab used to talk to her and that she had even proposed marriage to him. Similarly, actress Nawal Saeed also claimed that Pakistani cricketers have messaged her.
