LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Police department has recommended an immediate a ban on PUBG, an online game for cellphone, which caused another tragedy in Lahore in which a teenager (game-addicted), shot death his mother and three other family members in Kahna area in Lahore.
According to Lahore police, 18-year-old Ali Zain was addicted to PUBG (Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds), who shot dead his mother, two sisters and a brother with the imagination that they would be resurrected just like in the game.
Police said that after killing his family members, Ali Zain went to sleep in the lower part of the house and later on disappeared in a village near Faisalabad.
A spokesperson of the police said that after going through the details of the incident, the Punjab Police has decided to suggest a ban of the dangerous game to the federal and provincial governments.
“It is necessary to ban the game to prevent violent acts.”
This is not the first tragedy that has ruined a family and many such tragic incidents had already been reported in Pakistan and many other countries in the world.
