Hina Khan Draws Strength from Her ‘Last’ Eyelash During Breast Cancer Treatment

On Sunday night, Hina Khan took to Instagram to share close-up pictures of her eye along with an inspiring message about her motivation during the final round of her cancer treatment. “Wanna know what’s my current source of motivation?” she captioned the two-photo gallery, highlighting her resilience as she has navigated multiple cycles of chemotherapy, which caused her eyelashes and hair to fall out due to the treatment’s side effects.

Hina referred to her last remaining eyelash as a “BRAVE, LONE WARRIOR” that has stood by her through the challenges. She expressed a deep emotional connection to this single eyelash, stating, “Once part of a mighty and beautiful Brigade that adorned my eyes. This brave warrior has fought it all beside me.” She shared that as she approaches the last cycle of chemotherapy, this solitary eyelash serves as her inspiration to persevere.

The actress also revealed that she has not worn false eyelashes in over a decade, but has now begun to rely on them for her shoots. She concluded her post by asking her fans and well-wishers to continue praying for her health and a swift recovery.

For those unfamiliar, Hina Khan, who gained fame for her role as Akshara in the long-running series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and her bold appearance on Bigg Boss, announced her stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis in June. Throughout her journey, she has been sharing updates on social media, becoming a beacon of hope and strength for many facing similar battles.
