Kanye West is facing legal issues as a result of making inappropriate remarks regarding George Floyd.
He has received a cease-and-desist letter from Floyd’s family lawyers accusing him of “traumatising” Floyd’s daughter.
According to a letter obtained by TMZ, Kanye West “Knowingly created blatantly false assertions regarding George Floyd’s death to promote his businesses, and generate marketing value and money for himself, his business partners, and his associates.”
Kanye West made nefarious claims about George Floyd during the podcast interview in an effort to make money off of Mr. Floyd’s horrific death and the suffering of his family.
The complete interview has now been taken down from YouTube and RevoltTV, but videos of the rapper’s tirade are still being watched and shared by millions of people worldwide on social media.
“The child’s best interests come first. Kanye West’s remarks are retraumatizing George Floyd’s daughter, and he is putting her in a dangerous and unhealthful atmosphere.
This comes after Ye said Floyd actually died from fentanyl rather than being killed.
