Amidst ongoing rumors about their marriage, Latin pop star Jennifer Lopez has reportedly spent quality time with her husband, actor-filmmaker Ben Affleck, ahead of his birthday.
According to a celebrity magazine, Lopez visited Affleck at his rental home in Brentwood, where he has been residing separately following his move out of their Beverly Hills mansion.
Sources close to the couple revealed that Lopez’s visit was motivated by a desire to spend time with Affleck’s children—Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel—from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner. With the new school year approaching, Lopez wanted to ensure she could connect with the children before they resumed their academic commitments.
“Just because she’s not with Ben doesn’t mean she doesn’t care about his kids,” an insider shared.
“She always cared about them. She spent months finding the perfect house for their blended family last year. Now that she’s back in L.A., she wants to spend quality time with them before school starts and Violet heads to college.”
Their Beverly Hills mansion remains on the market, and while Affleck recently purchased a $20 million home in Los Angeles, he has not yet fully settled in.
Meanwhile, Lopez is also searching for a new residence in the area.
Lopez and Affleck, who first dated and were engaged from 2002 to 2004, rekindled their relationship in 2021. They announced their engagement in April 2022 and married in July of the same year.
Despite persistent speculation about their marriage, the couple has opted not to publicly address the rumors.
