Hijab Khalil, Daughter of Khalilur Rehman Qamar faces social media trolls

Hijab Khalil, the daughter of renowned Pakistani writer and playwright Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, has recently faced criticism on social media following her father’s latest controversy.

Social media users have targeted Hijab with sarcastic questions about her father, referencing an obscene video leak involving him. Many are advising her to take care of her father, while others criticize her for posting lip-sync videos.

In response to the backlash, Hijab has limited comments on her posts and is seemingly ignoring the negative remarks.

Amidst the criticism, some social media users are defending Hijab, urging her to ignore the comments and reminding others that she is only accountable for her own actions, not her father’s.

Hijab Khalil is an emerging social media influencer and TikToker who frequently shares lip-sync videos on her platforms.

Meanwhile, authorities have made significant strides in the investigation into the honey trap case involving renowned writer Khalilur Rehman Qamar. Hasan Shah, the alleged mastermind behind the honey-trap scheme, and his accomplice, Rafique, have been apprehended in Peshawar.

According to police reports, Shah, who is said to be a drug addict, was found in possession of opium at the time of his arrest. He is accused of orchestrating the honey trap operation that targeted Qamar. The scheme allegedly involved Shah and his associates compelling Qamar to record an objectionable video, which was then leaked.

Shah, a central figure in a gang of 12 members—including women—claimed to the police that Qamar visited the suspect woman’s house with inappropriate intentions rather than for script discussions as he had claimed. Shah further alleged that Qamar’s accusations of kidnapping were a result of the leaked videos.

The police have recorded statements from the suspects and are continuing their investigation. So far, 12 individuals involved in the case, including women, have been arrested. The case has revealed troubling details about the criminal backgrounds of the suspects.

Hasan Shah is reportedly linked to serious crimes, including kidnapping, torture, and electricity theft, with two cases registered against him in Nankana Sahib. His accomplice, Rafique, also known as Feeku, faces multiple charges, including murder, attempted murder, and torture, with six cases filed against him in Sheikhupura and a proclaimed offender status in Lahore.

Rafique was allegedly the shooter for Shah and is implicated in numerous violent crimes. One of the arrested suspects, Amna Urooj, has been presented in the Anti-Terrorism Court after a four-day physical remand. Judge Arshad Javed is overseeing the case proceedings, and a comprehensive report on the investigation is expected from the police.

The case, officially registered at Sundar police station, continues to unfold as authorities work to uncover the full extent of the gang’s operations and bring all involved to justice.
