The group’s agency said that Hybe’s new girl group, NewJeans, is getting ready to release all of the songs from their debut album on Monday, a week before the album’s official release.
ADOR told the group that the EP and the music video for the album’s third lead track, “Cookie,” will be released digitally at 6 p.m.
Attention, Hurt, Hype Boy, and Cookie are the four songs on the EP called New jeans. Attention, Hype Boy, and Hurt all have music videos that have already been put out.
NewJeans took a risky first step by putting out the music video for the first main track on their upcoming album, which is called “Attention.” Most K-pop groups prefer to release teaser images or trailers instead.
The upcoming album has already been preordered more than 440,000 times, which is likely to make it the most popular debut album by a girl group in South Korea.
