actress Sajal Ali will star alongside Indian superstar Prabhas in his upcoming film

Pakistani actress Sajal Ali has been officially confirmed to star alongside Indian superstar Prabhas in the forthcoming Bollywood film titled “Fauji.”

This highly anticipated project will be directed by the acclaimed Indian filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi and is set to be a grand period action drama with a historical fiction backdrop.

“Fauji” promises to be a large-budget film centered on a distinctive love story set against the backdrop of war, prior to India’s independence. There are speculations that Prabhas may portray a British soldier, adding an intriguing dimension to the narrative.

The casting of Sajal Ali has been confirmed following initial speculation and reports suggesting that Mrunal Thakur was previously considered for the role. Sajal, one of Pakistan’s most prominent actresses, is expected to bring significant star power to the film.

She made her Bollywood debut in 2017 with the critically acclaimed “Mom,” which starred the late Sridevi.

Director Hanu Raghavapudi has highlighted that “Fauji” will offer a unique and engaging love story woven into historical events. The pre-production phase is already in progress, with renowned music composer Vishal Chandrasekhar recording three tracks for the film’s soundtrack.

Filming for “Fauji” is slated to begin in September, with the production being managed by Mythri Movie Makers.

Fans are eagerly awaiting to see the on-screen chemistry between Sajal Ali and Prabhas, especially following Prabhas’s recent global success with “Kalki 2898 AD.”

This collaboration between Indian and Pakistani talent is poised to be a major cinematic event, bridging the entertainment industries of the two countries.
