During the conversation, Abhishek visibly displayed his wedding ring and stated, “I am still married,” firmly dispelling any notions of separation. He expressed his frustration with the spread of unverified news, commenting, “I have nothing to say about these rumours, but it saddens me that people spread such news without confirmation.”
The rumors of a rift between Abhishek and Aishwarya have been circulating for over a year, fueled in part by their frequent appearances at public events without each other.
Observers noted that Abhishek often attends functions with his parents, rather than with Aishwarya and their daughter, Aaradhya. Compounding the speculation, Abhishek recently liked a social media post about divorce, which further intensified public interest in their marital status.
In December 2023, reports emerged from various Indian news sources suggesting that Aishwarya had moved out of the Bachchan family home.
Additionally, there were claims that Amitabh Bachchan had gifted his daughter Shweta Nanda a luxurious bungalow in Juhu, which supposedly caused tension with Aishwarya.
