Twitter today restored the suspended accounts of journalists. CEO Twitter Elon Musk disclosed this development today through social media.
He pointed out that the Twitter accounts of several journalists were suspended after he accused them of endangering his family.

Twitter CEO Musk drew warnings from the EU and UN after suspending the accounts of prominent journalists from theย New York Times,ย CNNย andย the Washington Post.
Musk said, โThe people have spoken. Accounts who disclosed my location will have their suspension lifted now.”
Before restoring journalists accounts, Elon Musk conducted a poll on Twitter asking the platform users whether he should restore the suspended accounts now or in a weekโs time. About 59 percent of the Twitter users _ 3.69 million, who took part in the poll supported the restoration of the accounts immediately.
Some of the suspended accounts appeared to have been reactivated, with former Vox journalist Aaron Rupar tweeting again.
