LONDON: Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh captivated fans at London’s Wembley Stadium with a rendition of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s classic Saanso Ki Maala during his Aura World Tour performance on September 12.
Dosanjh performed at Wembley for the first time before a crowd his team estimated at around 90,000. During the concert, he reduced the production around Saanso Ki Maala, allowing his vocals and the song’s devotional character to take centre stage.
Meanwhile, thousands of fans illuminated the stadium with their phone lights, while videos of the performance quickly circulated online.

During the Wembley show, Dosanjh also announced that his next concert would take place at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on November 21.
He delivered the announcement in Gujarati, drawing an enthusiastic response from the audience.
The singer has previously incorporated cross-border cultural references into major performances. Pakistani actress Hania Aamir earlier joined him on stage during a London concert before appearing alongside him in Sardaar Ji 3.
Moreover, Dosanjh has publicly praised Aamir’s professionalism while discussing their work together.
Singer Continues Aura World Tour After Wembley Show
With Wembley completed, attention now shifts towards Dosanjh’s Ahmedabad appearance. However, organisers had yet to announce ticketing information or full details of the tour’s India leg.
Dosanjh previously toured India during his Dil-Luminati tour in late 2024, which also included Ahmedabad.
Separately, his film Satluj faced distribution difficulties after its withdrawal from major streaming platforms amid reported censorship and licensing issues.
Consequently, its creators announced plans to screen the film through Gurdwaras and community centres internationally, bypassing conventional digital distribution channels.
