Defence Minister Khawaja Asif asserted that powerful forces deliberately imposed war on Iran as part of a calculated Zionist agenda. He elaborated that this conflict sought to push Israel’s influence directly to Pakistan’s borders. As a result, the minister urged every Pakistani to recognize this serious threat immediately.
Moreover, Asif pointed out that Iran was eager for peaceful agreements. However, external powers rejected diplomacy and launched aggressive attacks instead. He described the entire situation as a coordinated effort to surround Pakistan with hostile neighbors and weaken its independence.
Zionism Drives Conflicts Across the Islamic World
Additionally, the minister explicitly labelled Zionism as an imminent threat to humanity and the Muslim world. Since Israel’s forceful annexation of Palestinian land, Zionist ideology has fueled countless wars and disasters in the Islamic world. For instance, he noted that this influence has even controlled global economic systems and held major powers captive for over a century.
Furthermore, Asif proudly highlighted Pakistan’s nuclear capability and the bravery of its armed forces. He honored the martyrs, ghazis, and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, whose courageous nuclear tests proved Pakistan’s strength to the entire world. He also expressed deep gratitude for everyone who safeguards national sovereignty.
Lastly, the minister warned of a dangerous alliance of Afghanistan, Iran, and India against Pakistan. He cautioned that this could lead to insecure borders, encirclement, and the possibility of making Pakistan a dependent state. Hence, the minister made a plea for unity in the Islamic world, freedom for Palestine, and divine guidance for Pakistan until the Day of Judgment.
