A viral social media video has sparked speculation that Pakistan fast bowler Hassan Ali was assaulted during a train journey in India. However, no official confirmation has supported the claim.
Posts circulating online alleged Hassan Ali was travelling to meet his in-laws in Delhi. They further claimed unidentified individuals abused and assaulted him with sticks aboard a train.
The claims spread rapidly across social media. Consequently, many users demanded action if the allegations proved accurate.
Identity In Viral Video Remains Unverified
Despite the online claims, no verified evidence confirms the man in the footage is Hassan Ali. Therefore, the video’s authenticity remains under question.
Pakistani television anchor Kiran Naz challenged the central claim. She said the individual shown does not resemble the Pakistan fast bowler.
Additionally, she argued the background audio suggests a different incident. According to her, police appeared to intervene after someone allegedly entered a women’s compartment.
Kiran Naz also questioned the broader narrative surrounding the clip. She noted Hassan Ali is an international cricketer and unlikely to travel alone on a regular passenger train.
No Official Response Yet
As of now, neither Hassan Ali nor the Pakistan Cricket Board has issued a statement. Indian authorities have also not commented on the viral claims.
Hassan Ali married Indian national Samia Arzoo in Dubai in 2019. Before their marriage, she worked as an air hostess after studying aeronautical engineering.
At present, the claim that Hassan Ali was assaulted in India remains unverified. Until credible evidence emerges, the video should be treated as unconfirmed viral content.
