Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez have officially married after years together. The couple confirmed their wedding through a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, August 11.
They shared a photograph showing their hands with new wedding bands and Georgina’s engagement ring. According to a press release, they held a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal.
Couple Marries One Year After Engagement
The intimate ceremony included their five children, according to the announcement. Georgina captioned the post, “Sí, quiero,” expressing her commitment to Ronaldo.
The wedding date carries special meaning for the couple. It marks exactly one year since Georgina announced their engagement on Instagram.
The marriage also ended recent speculation about the couple’s wedding plans. Crowds had gathered in Madeira after mistakenly believing Ronaldo would marry there.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez Share Family
Ronaldo and Rodríguez met in 2016 and have remained together since then. They share a blended family that includes five children.
Ronaldo has Cristiano Jr., twins Eva Maria and Mateo, while Alana and Bella are his daughters with Rodríguez. The couple also experienced the loss of Bella’s twin brother shortly after their birth in 2022.
Rodríguez previously discussed Ronaldo’s proposal during a December 2025 interview. She said the proposal completely surprised her and took time to process.
The couple have frequently shared aspects of their relationship with fans. Rodríguez also documented her personal life in the Netflix series I Am Georgina.
