The Cabinet Division has released the Toshakhana record for April to June 2026, detailing diplomatic gifts received by senior government officials. The record shows Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar among the recipients.
Prime Minister Shehbaz received a model of China’s space station, along with a cup, wristwatch, shield, sugar bowl, premium pen, a model of Masjid-e-Nabawi, and a necktie. Meanwhile, Ishaq Dar received a Chinese leather belt, a model of an Egyptian statue, and a pair of cufflinks.
Cabinet Division Releases Toshakhana Record
According to the official record, high-ranking government officials received 21 diplomatic gifts between March and June 2026. All gifts presented to the prime minister and deputy prime minister have been deposited in the Toshakhana.
Furthermore, the Cabinet Division is currently assessing the value of each item. The valuation process will determine their status under the applicable Toshakhana rules.
Gift Valuation Process Underway
Officials said the ongoing assessment will decide whether the recipients can retain any gifts after paying the prescribed amount. Otherwise, the items will remain part of the official Toshakhana collection.
Meanwhile, the released record provides details of diplomatic gifts received during the reporting period. The valuation process will conclude before any decision regarding the gifts’ ownership is made.
