Chery has revised the prices of its locally assembled Tiggo 7 PHEV, Tiggo 8 PHEV, and Tiggo 9 PHEV following the recent sales tax revision. However, customers can still purchase these plug-in hybrid SUVs at temporary discounted prices until July 31, 2026.
The revised pricing affects all three models. Nevertheless, the company has introduced a limited-time offer that provides buyers with some relief before the new ex-factory prices fully take effect.
Revised Ex-Factory Prices Announced
Following the latest tax adjustments, Chery has increased the official ex-factory prices across its Tiggo PHEV lineup.
The Tiggo 7 PHEV has increased from Rs9,499,000 to Rs10,949,000.
Similarly, the Tiggo 8 PHEV now carries a revised ex-factory price of Rs12,999,000, compared with its previous price of Rs11,299,000.
Meanwhile, the Tiggo 9 PHEV has risen from Rs13,694,000 to Rs15,749,000.
These revised prices reflect the impact of the recent sales tax changes on locally assembled vehicles.
Limited-Time Offer Available Until July 31
Despite the official price increase, Chery has announced temporary prices that will remain available until July 31, 2026.
During this promotional period, customers can purchase the Tiggo 7 PHEV for Rs9,999,000.
Likewise, the Tiggo 8 PHEV will be available for Rs11,499,000, while the Tiggo 9 PHEV can be purchased for Rs14,299,000.
Although these promotional prices are lower than the revised ex-factory rates, they remain higher than the vehicles’ original prices before the sales tax revision.
Offer Applies to Existing Customers
According to the announced policy, the temporary pricing applies to existing customers and remains available while stocks last.
Therefore, eligible buyers can benefit from the discounted rates before the offer expires.
Unless Chery extends the promotion, the fully revised ex-factory prices are expected to become effective after July 31, 2026.
Sales Tax Revision Drives New Pricing
The latest price adjustment follows the government’s revised sales tax structure, which has affected vehicle prices across multiple segments.
As a result, manufacturers continue to update their pricing to reflect higher production and taxation costs.
