Chery Master Pakistan has introduced the Chery Q in Pakistan with a limited introductory price of PKR 5,554,000. The launch took place at the Pakistan Auto Show 2026.
For a limited period, buyers will also receive a complimentary 7kW home charger. The charger is valued at PKR 100,000 and comes with the Chery Q purchase.
The launch expands Chery Master Pakistan’s growing New Energy vehicle portfolio. The company has already introduced the Tiggo 7, Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 9 PHEVs.
With three PHEV models launched within seven months, Chery Master says it has built Pakistan’s largest PHEV lineup. Now, the Chery Q takes the company into pure electric mobility.
Chery Q Targets Everyday Pakistani Mobility
Chery Master says the Chery Q responds to changing mobility needs in Pakistan. Rising fuel costs, concerns about fuel availability and growing solar adoption are reshaping household transportation choices.
Traditionally, buyers in the PKR 4.5 million to PKR 6 million range have faced compromises. These compromises have included space, technology, safety, convenience and running costs.
However, the Chery Q aims to combine several advantages within one compact vehicle. The company describes it as offering 94% lower running costs than a hatchback.
It also claims the Q provides more comfort than a sedan and more space than an SUV. Therefore, Chery positions the vehicle as “3 cars in 1” and a complete everyday mobility package.
The company calls this new space the “Q Segment.” Through this concept, Chery aims to redefine what an accessible people’s car can offer.
What Does the Chery Q Offer?
The Chery Q combines a compact footprint with C-SUV-like interior space. It has a width of 1,811 mm, a wheelbase of 2,700 mm and 152 mm of rear knee room.
The electric vehicle also comes with rear-wheel drive and mobile app controls. Additionally, drivers can use voice commands for greater convenience.
For vehicle-to-load functionality, the Q features 6.6 kW V2L capability. It also includes six airbags and Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems.
The L2 ADAS package offers 21 functions, while a 540° HD camera supports improved visibility. Automatic Parking is also included in the vehicle’s technology package.
Inside, the Chery Q features a 15.6-inch 2.5K display. The system supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Chery Q Battery and Running Costs
The Chery Q uses a 42.7 kWh battery and offers a claimed range of up to 400 km under the NEDC standard. Its stated efficiency reaches 9.4 km per kWh.
These figures could make the Q particularly relevant for households using solar energy. Chery estimates significant savings when comparing its running costs with conventional petrol vehicles.
At an annual distance of 20,000 km, a typical petrol vehicle can cost approximately PKR 488,000 to PKR 569,000 in fuel. By comparison, Chery estimates around PKR 30,000 for the Q when charged using solar power.
Therefore, the company presents the Q as a way to connect electric mobility with Pakistan’s growing adoption of solar energy.
Pakistan’s EV Market and Energy Shift
Chery’s launch comes as Pakistan’s electric vehicle market continues to expand. According to the figures provided by the company, EV sales increased 257% between FY2024–25 and FY2025–26.
Meanwhile, Pakistan imported 17 GW of solar photovoltaic capacity in 2024. The country’s petroleum import bill also reached US$16.86 billion during FY2025–26.
Against this backdrop, Chery links efficient mobility with the broader shift towards locally generated energy. The company says this transition could benefit households, communities, the environment and Pakistan’s energy equation.
Chery and Master Group Bring Global and Local Strength
Chery Master Pakistan is also highlighting the combined strength of Chery’s international presence and Master Group’s local automotive experience.
Chery brings 23 consecutive years as China’s No. 1 automobile exporter. Its global footprint now extends across more than 130 countries, with over 20 million customers.
Meanwhile, Master Group has more than 60 years of overall experience. The group also has more than 40 years of involvement in the automotive sector.
The company says this combination supports its approach to bringing advanced New Energy vehicles to Pakistani families.
Chery Master Expands Dealership and Service Network
Chery Master is also expanding its local support network alongside its vehicle lineup. The company currently has 14 3S dealerships across eight cities.
Furthermore, it plans to expand to 20 dealerships across 12 cities within six months. The expansion is intended to bring sales, parts and service support closer to customers.
The company says customers will receive support through Chery Master and its dealer partners. It is also positioning parts availability and service support as key elements of its local offering.
Chery Q Enters Pakistan’s Electric Mobility Market
With the Chery Q, Chery Master Pakistan is moving beyond plug-in hybrid vehicles and into pure electric mobility. The company is positioning the model around affordability, technology, space and lower running costs.
At PKR 5,554,000 for a limited introductory period, the Q is being presented as an alternative for buyers seeking an electric everyday vehicle. The complimentary 7kW home charger further adds to the introductory package.
Ultimately, Chery Master’s message is built around replacing compromises with a broader combination of features. The company describes the approach simply: “YOUR Q. AN UPGRADE, NOT A SWAP.”
