Chery Master Pakistan is set to launch the all-electric Chery Q at Pakistan Auto Show 2026 on September 18. It will expand company’s new-energy vehicle lineup in the Pakistani market.
The company will announce the Chery Q’s price and open bookings during the auto show. The model targets consumers seeking a practical electric vehicle for daily commuting.
Pakistan’s new-energy vehicle market has expanded rapidly. According to company figures, the segment grew 392% during FY2025-26 and now represents around 15% of the automobile market.
The Chery Q features a 42.7 kWh battery and offers a claimed range of up to 400 kilometres under the NEDC cycle.
The vehicle measures 4,195 millimetres in length and has a 2,700-millimetre wheelbase. It also offers efficiency of up to 9.4 kilometres per unit.
Technology and Solar Charging Benefits
The vehicle includes Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems with 21 assistance features. It also offers Automatic Parking Assist and a 15.6-inch 2.5K display.
Additionally, the Chery Q supports mobile connectivity and Vehicle-to-Load functionality. The company also aims to connect electric mobility with Pakistan’s expanding rooftop solar market.
Chery estimates that a petrol vehicle travelling 20,000 kilometres annually could consume about Rs488,000 in fuel. In contrast, solar charging could reduce the Chery Q’s annual energy cost to around Rs30,000.
Pakistan imported approximately 17 GW of solar photovoltaic capacity during 2024. Consequently, more households could use surplus solar electricity for electric vehicle charging.
Globally, Chery operates across more than 130 countries and serves over 20 million customers. In Pakistan, Master Group supports its operations through 15 3S dealerships.
